Security System Installation for Luxury Apartment Complex

SCOPE OF WORK:

Paragon Security and Locksmith designed and installed the the low voltage solution for a multi-building luxury apartment complex in Staten Island, New York with project developer Iron State and project architects.

The URBY Staten Island is a 500 unit community development project with modern design and living amenities. The solution designed by Paragon included an access system, intercom system, and security camera system for the building entrances, parking, common spaces, and amenities. Paragon also designed and specified the smart keyless locks and access control for all apartment units.

As a low voltage integration company, Paragon crews did all the network wiring and roughing at this project during construction, preparing for WiFi, the camera system, and Smart Hub communications. After the roughing phase was completed and working closely with the construction management and the contractors and electricians on site, Paragon installed and integrated the following systems:

• ButterflyMX IP video intercom system with a mobile app to receive video calls, talk, and open the front door from tenant’s phones.
• Hikvision security camera system to monitor the safe living and flow of visitors around the complex.
• SmartAir access control system with readers at common areas and amenities, as well as and mortise keyless network locksets on all 500 apartment units.

All systems were integrated at the completion of the project to provide the tenants with access to the systems and doors through their phone, on an app. Paragon also provided complete training, set up, and support to the building management company after the construction had been successfully completed.
