Paragon Security & Locksmith, Inc. has been active throughout the pandemic as an essential business servicing the security needs and access control management for clients all across New York City.
Priority #1 for us amid the COVID-19 pandemic is and will always be the health and safety of our employees, customers and community. Since the outbreak, we have taken aggressive action to implement additional safety precautions and social-behavioral adjustments. All employees are trained and practice these safety measures at our office, vehicles, at home, on service calls and all job sites.
Our goal is to communicate our ongoing commitment with integrity — openly and transparently to ensure that our employees, customers, vendors and community feel valued and safe. We’re fully focused on operating with the highest safety and sanitation standards, by implementing the following measures, in addition to our already high standards of operation:
- Accounting and IT support on work from home accommodation
- Contactless Customer Service available via phone and email
- Number of onsite office staff and crew minimized
- Social distancing practiced by all essential office employees
- Technicians and field employees PPE equipped and trained
- Ongoing updates to workplace safety plan and training
- Technicians and field employees carry personal and vehicle safety kits which include: masks, gloves, safety goggles and hand sanitizer.
- Significantly increased sanitation and deep cleaning protocols of equipment, tools, vehicles and our facilities
- Monitoring and daily reports of employee health and conditions
- Designated health and safety manager oversees daily health and safety reports
- Technicians equipped with mobile apps to provide contactless / low-contact transaction of payment, receipts and pictures.
As we deal with the ongoing regulations and management of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closely monitoring the situation and following the direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the local health authorities and the NYS Governor’s office.
