Nardacci shared that Coronavirus has mobilized major changes in security demand. Comelit promptly responded to new needs with a line of products dedicated to the control and measurement of body temperature for fever screening and mask detection. The use of radiometric technology in Comelit products allows rapid and reliable temperature measurement, with accuracy levels up to 0.3 ° C, thus avoiding the use of personnel, with consequent risks of contagion and the possibility of creating assemblies for operations of measurement.

Safe Distance Security

Temperature Measurement or Radiometry is a technology that provides benefits in a wide range of applications and enables organizations to deploy solutions for healthy safety, security and protection at a safe distance. A radiometric thermal camera measures the temperature of a surface by interpreting the intensity of an infrared signal reaching the camera.

For high / medium flow scenarios, about 600 people per minute, the Comelit solution uses special thermal cameras and which, thanks to a sophisticated face recognition algorithm, identify up to 30 subjects simultaneously on the image and measure their temperature. For low flow scenarios, however, the ideal solution is the termopad , an 8 ″ screen with an integrated thermopile which in addition to temperature control is able to verify that the mask is worn and possibly perform face recognition, thanks to a camera with binocular lens.

Comelit Nexus tablet style panel with an 8-inch LCD screen is equipped with high precision body temperature detector.The temperature is measured on the wrist, with no physical contact, via an infrared sensor that ensures maximum precision and decreases the impact of external factors that can impair detection on the forehead. The panel features a front camera that detects the presence or absence of a mask and, through facial recognition, also allows access control management with a recognition percentage of 99.2% even with a mask worn.
