A strange incident has recently been caught on a security cam in China. A Chinese girl walking down the street, while on the phone, did not notice the poor marking of a faulty unstable sidewalk. She walked straight onto the unstable ground, and plummeted into a 20 feet gaping hole. The video also shows a taxi driver that saw the event, and hurried to rescue the girl from the hole.

A concerned crowd gathers around the hole and documents the rescue operation. The Taxi driver enters the hole himself, trying to get the terrified girl out. After a few minutes of failed attempts, with both individuals in the dark hole, rescue forces arrive and manage to get the girl and her brave helper out of the pit.
The girl was only slightly injured, and was very distraught. Her family has contacted the resourceful taxi driver, Wang Wei, and thanked him for the support he provided. It seems you can depend on the kindness of strangers, even when the ground is falling beneath you feet.
