East Village Rental Building Security Upgrade of Intercom, Access Control, and Security Cameras

SCOPE OF WORK:

Paragon Security and Locksmith upgraded the building security systems for a multifamily rental building in the East Village, Manhattan. After removing the existing intercom and key fobs, Paragon designed and provided a new ABB audio/video intercom system with touch scroll panels at the front door and vestibule doors.

Also installed were Brivo OnAir access control system readers, which were integrated to the existing electric strikes to open the doors from the new video intercom units in each apartment.

Paragon also integrated the intercom and access control system to the package area and the laundry room of the building, allowing tenants access with key fobs and on their smartphones with Brivo Mobile Pass.

To complete the security upgrade, Paragon integrated an IP camera system by Hik Vision to monitor the entrance, backyard, and all building amenities. Management now has remote access to view the live camera feed as well as the recorded footage.
