Philadelphia Shooter Video Released By Police

Philadelphia Police’s Homicide department has released a surveillance video of an armed shooter in action, hoping that the video will assist in the capture of the criminal.

The shooting happened on February 11, at the intersection of 25th and Master Street at 5:12 p.m.  Police say a 27-year-old man was leaving a corner store when an unknown man fired several shots at him.  The victim was struck twice in the chest and died from his wounds.  The gunman fled in an unknown direction. The surveillance video shows the gunman walking back and forth in the street.  At some point he begins to run, shooting towards his victim, nearly tripping on the road.

The suspect is a thin black male between the ages of 18 and 30 with a beard and slight mustache.  He is seen in the video wearing tan pants and a green hooded sweatshirt.

Philadelphia Police warn the public that the shooter is armed and very dangerous.  Philadelphia Police request the public’s assistance with any information that would lead to the capture of the gunman.
